GLOBAL S.L.P. — Digital Certification Platform
Advancing Livestock Quality Standards Through Intuitive, Trust-Centered Design
Year :
2024
Industry :
AgriTech / Compliance & Certification
Client :
Global S.L.P.

Project Overview :
GLOBAL S.L.P. is a digital platform built around a global standard for livestock certification—ensuring safety, ethical practices, and sustainability across production. The platform helps producers and certifiers comply with sustainable agriculture standards, submit required documentation, get certified, and trust the process by being transparent.

Note : This user flow is a generalized representation of the actual process. Specific steps and system details have been intentionally omitted
Problem Statement :
Certification in livestock production is complex: multiple standards, heavy documentation, risk of misunderstanding, and low trust from users when things are opaque.
How might we simplify these complexity-laden workflows and make the certification process feel clear, reliable, and trustworthy—especially for producers in diverse geographies?
Research & Insights :
The primary input came from a Business Requirement Document (BRD) which spelled out compliance workflows, regulatory expectations, roles of producers vs certifiers.
Feedback loops were held with clients who had domain expertise (producers, certifiers) to verify assumptions and ensure the workflows are realistic.
Industry standards such as GLOBALG.A.P. were studied to ensure alignment with existing compliance criteria and best practices.
Key Insights:
Users need step-by-step guidance through each stage of certification — uploading documents, review, corrections, etc.
Trust and transparency are essential — users must see where their application is in the process and what is required.
Global reach means multilingual support and accessibility are non-negotiable for wide adoption.

Design Solution :
Designed guided certification workflows with progress indicators at each step (e.g., “Upload Documents → Review → Audit → Certification”).
Incorporated trust signals: verified certificates, audit logs (transparency), real-time dashboards showing status.
Built modular UI components like compliance cards, upload widgets, and checklists for reusability and scalability.
Ensured the UI respects accessibility and clarity (e.g. multilingual labels, clear validation errors, readable layout).

Outcomes :
Platform was adopted in 10 countries.
Over 20,000 certifications issued.
More than 30,000 producers registered.
These outcomes show significant scale and trust in the product.
